Welcoming 2009!

After celebrating Christmas, it will be followed by another event, a big event that many of us tend to participate more - the welcoming of new year. For me the arrival of year 2009, it is the continuation of my journey. A journey with my love ones, pursuing to gain the dreams and ambitions build a long time ago. I want to be more skilled and knowledgeable. Ever since I've graduated in college I want to upgrade more. But for now I want to enjoy this event because my Christmas was not that festive. Yet I'm still thankful because I can be able celebrate it with the ones that I treasured most, even if my other sister is from afar... we still have a communication with her. We can talk to her, and be able greet one another. Another thing that I'm so grateful about is that, the status of each of our relationship to the other part of the family, it became pleasing and favorable to us.

The year 2008 is a good year for my family because all of us have a job. God continuously showers us with blessings even if we've done numerous sins. But God is still forgiving and kind. As for the proof, I've been jobless for four months. To consume my vacancy, I've studied again and took only the first semester. Day by day I became bothered, and I prayed deeply. Then by surprised, God blessed me again with a new job. He answers my prayers so swift. And thank him through spending my first wage in buying gifts for the people who helped me and touched my life so intensely. Especially those people whom I really wanted to share the blessings I've received.

Welcoming the forthcoming year 2009, I want to make astounding memories with my love ones that I can carry until I've reach my old age. I want to enjoy it and yes, I have wishes and resolutions. I hope that I could do it, also my wish do come true.

Well wishing you all a blessed and joyful New Year!

Christmas Spirit

Only seven days to go before Christmas day and I'm thankful because God answers my prayers. First week of December, I already felt the spirit of Christmas because of the Bossa nova music collections that I've heard when I discovered Tonet's site at www.tonetsdaily.com and also the other collections of Christmas songs by Filipino artist that frequently plays in the office. When going outside, the wind blew a very cold air that touches my skin that makes me chill. I also felt the spirit of Christmas when I see a huge Christmas tree that wraps with tiny lights in it, sparkles around the tree.

Here's my original artwork. I also like the color purple, the glow around the tree, and the stars.
Purple makes it different to other color. And I called this wallpaper "my Purple tree"

Recently, my co-officemates and I decided to have a Christmas party in the office next week before Christmas. We also planned to have exchanges gifts on that day so we make a "palabunutan". Excitement and joy are what we felt while doing the "palabunutan". Yet, there's something in me that bothers me. My only wish for Christmas is that all people in this world would experience happiness, peace and love.

Have a Merry Christmas to all!!!

Today's topic is about Christmas songs. I've been thinking a lot about Christmas, it really makes me feel its spirit and harmony when I hear songs that can gives me a feeling that is unexplainable. Songs which are gently embraces my soul and my heart. Songs like Isabel Ortega's Christmas Bossa Nova Collections. Through her songs you can feel the message, it warms the listener's heart to be at peace and calm. It's good for relaxation, it lessens stress and depression.

Another songs that I love to hear is the Christmas Songs collection by various Filipino artist. "It's Christmas all over the world" and "Christmas medley: Give love on Christmas day" by Aiza Seguerra. She's really a great singer, her voice is really fascinating, gentle and soft. "Himig ng Pasko" by Apo Hiking society, Sana Ngayong Pasko by Ariel Rivera and many more. You can listen to these songs to Tonet's Daily. Here's the link, www.tonetsdaily.com through this site you can unwind, relax, and make your life stress-free when you hear all the various collections of songs. You can also try the Christmas in Bossa Nova Music Collection.
